A comic book series featuring a narwhal and a jellyfish as an "odd couple" of friends. In between chapters are fun facts about narwhals and jellyfish which are cool enough to encourage kids who want to learn more about either creature to check out a nonfiction book.
The tone of the book is really upbeat/positive with an emphasis on creativity and imagination which reminds me of Jarrett Krosoczka work in the best way. The humor and use of an "odd couple" as main characters makes me think this series will work well as a read aloud for fans of Babymouse/Squish, Elephant & Piggie, Ballet Cat, and Binky the Space Cat.
Recommended for grades 1-3.

I have no idea why this book won an award and is rated so high. I thought it was really lame and unfunny. It was kinda annoying. The only thing that kept it from complete disaster was the joke about the book at the end that did make me snort: “Don’t get it wet.” But this was not enough to save it from being a two star. Maybe if I was a different age I would appreciate this book more.
Okay these books are kinda dumb but the characters are cute and kids will love them
This is such a super cute book! I bought it for myself and my 9-year-old daughter to read together. We love the characters and the story. It's a fun and easy read, and has interesting little storylines following the titular character.
I usually detest reading aloud graphic novels, but this was so fun. Quick to read (got through the whole book in about 20 min), charming and made us all smile. The whole series is worth the time. We all loved it

This was cute! I thought it was a graphic novel but it’s more like a graphic easy reader for beginning to read. But the stories were cute and sweet, and the illustration was great!
