Narwhal: Unicorn of the Sea is a beautifully illustrated graphic novel that has a sense of fun that will appeal to both younger and older child readers. It certainly appealed to my own sense of humour and I unabashedly chuckled and read passages aloud to myself to fully appreciate the story.

In the first story vignette both Narwhal and Jellyfish feel they have imagined the other. Since their imaginations are quite extensive and extraordinary the question arises as to whether or not they can prove they are real to each other.

This may have been my favourite part, but it is one of many that I enjoyed:
Because I'm awesome like that!

This is a perfect book to give to fans of Mo Willems' "Elephant and Piggie" series as well as Jon Klassen's "I Want My Hat Back" and "This is Not My Hat."

I loved this cute book about a narwhal. The comic style art and the happy little narwhal makes this book one that I will read often to my children.

I read this with my little brother and thought it was so cute, and he loved it too!

A gorgeous and simple comic with uncluttered drawing. Even though this graphic novel is classified as children's fiction, it can also be targeted to the adults. (It sure didn't stop me from reading and loving it.

Really adorable series!

Excellent and adorable!

Narwhal: Unicorn of the Sea by Ben Clanton was perfection! This is the graphic novel equivalent of Elephant and Piggie and is a ladder to Phoebe and her Unicorn. Filled with laugh-out-loud moments as well as thoughtful moments covered in friendship and cuteness, Narwhal equals such a charming graphic novel for all ages.

Narwhal is a happy-go-lucky narwhal is a wild imagination. Jelly is... not. That's okay by Narwhal, they both bond over a mutual love of waffles, parties, and having adventures! Together, the two friends recruit other sea friends into their own little group and read the best book ever - so what if it doesn't have words or pictures? They have imagination!

This hybrid intermediate novel/graphic novel is perfect for beginning readers (psst... and grown-ups) who love silly jokes, adorable art, and fun. Kids will enjoy this Odd Couple under the sea, and learn that friends don't have to enjoy all of the same things to get along. The art is squeal-worthy adorable, and the dialogue between the two friends is light and fun. Narwhal: Unicorn of the Sea has hit it big with readers, too: the book has received multiple awards and praise, including a starred Kirkus review, designation as the Best of the Year in 2016 by both Amazon and Kirkus, and was put on the Texas 2x2 Reading List.

I don’t even care that this book is for children. I needed a palate cleanser, something cute and quick, and this was perfect! I loved it.
