3.5 STARS

*I was sent this book by the publisher in exchange for a honest review*

First of all this book is aimed at kids and I am absolutely sure they will love it, even before they can read it themselves.

Narwhal is a very naive, full of imagination and innocence being, and I loved him for it. Jellyfish was equally as awesome.

The artwork is so cute and adorable and I wouldn't mind having the cover printed and framed on my wall.

You must be wondering why the 3.5 star rating... Well, the storyline was lacking something. It was incredibly short and I am sure that due to the likeness of the characters, kids and everyone who reads it will be wanting more.

All in all it was a wonderful book and I will for sure read it to my kids. I just wished it was longer and the plot was a little more structured.

Such simple, wonderful and charming illustrations. Narwhal and Jelly are so great together.

Z enjoyed this much more reading it with her cousin P.

It's super cute, obviously for the kiddos, but if you dig cute things and want (or need) to put a smile on your face, then this book could easily do that. I finished in about 10 minutes or less and would read the next book. The illustrations are simple, which add to the cuteness and Narwhal is such an optimistic and sweet narwhal. Oh! And I even learned some things about narwhals and jellyfish.

I laughed out loud more than once, and learned that a narwhal horn is actually a tooth.

This is one of the sweetest, breeziest graphic novels I have ever come across. It’s fun, lighthearted, and wholesome. It’s clear to see why Narwhal: Unicorn of the Sea won an Eisner Award. Ben Clanton’s whimsical illustrations possess a childlike quality that is sure to make this sweet little series remain popular for years to come! I know I for one can’t wait to continue with the series!

Sometimes as an Auntie you end up in the bookstore for an hour reading picture books. It's a thing.
