What a lovely little graphic novel! The characters are so endearing; Narwhal's enthusiasm is contagious, and Jelly's facial expressions ensure you always know what he's thinking. The kids loved that there were different chapters featuring related stories, and the facts as well.

a narwhal and a jellyfish - what could be better than that?
I read this to my second grade students and they really liked it. I'm a k-5 marine science teacher. It's a humorous book but also has lots of great narwhal facts! I would recommend going on the book's website to find the activities that go with it. I had the kids make their own narwhal horns using the printable and they loved it.
If I ever wrote a book, it would be just like this. Everyone should read this.
