This book was amazing up till the end. It just feels like a lot of build up for an anti climatic ending, I was expecting another twist but it just felt rushed. The writing was really good though!
Natasha Preston always has a crazy ending. This is the third book I've read by her and I liked it. I'll definitely be reading more of her books.

This was an easy enjoyable read. Although I enjoyed the book, the ending left me feeling unsatisfied and annoyed. Other than the ending I think the book is good for when you want a quick and easy read.

The book was 5 stars until the ending—and the ending completely ruined it. The book ends with a major cliffhanger, and while an open ending could work well, this book simply lacks resolution.

Just finished it about 45 seconds ago within my last minute of my school study hall. Heart-stopping, thrilling, suspenseful, detailed, interesting, amazing. I definitely enjoyed it, even though it’s not my usual style. It’s good to change it up once in a while, and this was a perfect book to do it with. MY ONLY SUGGESTION, is that there needs to be more in depth thought when coming to a realization. You don’t automatically go from Point A to Point B when thinking about something, but you would most likely think of all possible ways that something could happen. Esme was the biggest culprit of this, but I kinda got used to it/got over it. Definitely recommend.
Edit: So I read through some one-star reviews, and I noticed that I’m not the only one who noticed a few things that I didn’t mention in my previous review^. Unrealistic! (also with other reviews,) I mean obviously there is going to be some childish romance, you’re a teenager at a kids summer camp? It’s not going to be death/chambers/torturing/demons/etc, but there will be somewhat childish horror. I actually liked the ending, if you sat back and thought about it.

Took me about 100 pages to get into the story. The mastermind literally was revealed for three quarters of the book…. But I did enjoy the last 100…. Kept me reading til the last word. Probably wouldn’t pick up another one of this author’s books but I will probably pass the book along for someone else to enjoy.
