Every so often you'll find something really special in the horror genre. Something that's unique and bittersweet and thoughtful.

I can't talk much about the plot or the characters without spoiling it - but this is one of those stories where it really manages to keep you on your toes. It's beautiful and poetic without leaning to purple prose.

What an interesting story! This book follows two young boys who live with a motherly figure they call Miss Maggie. Every so often, visitors come to stay with them, but they never stick around for very long. The boys begin questioning why this is and learn more about Miss Maggie and their lifestyles when Benjamin shows up. With Ben’s help, the boys are able to figure out what has been missing from their lives and are able to find peace.
