The MMC in the first book was not great,  but Dorian was an improvement.

Still very predictable, but that didn't take away from it for me. I loved the unique take on Cinderella, who has always been my favorite princess. Overall an enjoyable read.

Eden, introduced in the initial installment of the Daughters of Eville series, "Of Beast and Beauty," is sent to Candor to partake in the royal masquerade ball, where the Prince seeks a suitable consort. However, Eden's purpose is not in winning the Prince's affections; her mission is one of vengeance for her parents. Proficient in the art of Glamours, Eden's skill proves invaluable, especially when the royal family aims to match the Prince with a woman of wealth. Throughout her journey, she crosses paths with Dorian, a figure in the Prince's service whose true allegiance remains ambiguous. To uncover Dorian's intentions and the unfolding narrative, one must delve into the story firsthand.

4.5 ⭐️I am really into retellings lately and I have to say, so far this series by Chanda Hahn is absolutely enthralling. I love the shifts from the original stories and the subtle and less subtle tie ins. But most of all I’m loving following each of the sisters journeys.

Rating: 5/5 stars

H rating: 4.5/5 - Dorian. I LOVE YOUUUUU! So sad that you ended up having no family, but still you were misunderstood and I was able see your love and feel it when you gave it.

h rating: 4/5 - Eden, oh Eden, it was insane how you came to be, it was more insane that triangle you fell in. Very much adored her too.

Drama: 5/5 - Continuous drama from before, but introduction to new stuff too, I am extremely happy with this series.

Thoughts: Love this one, am looking forward to book 3!!!
