A beautifully written sequel to Divine Rivals. I was much more invested in this story than the first, and really enjoyed the writing style of the author. The characters were so lovable and I was rooting for Roman and Iris from beginning to end ❤️

It took me a while to get round to reading this, and I think a part of that is because I loved Divine Rivals so much that part of me was worried that book two wouldn't live up to my expectations. I needn't have worried.

Ruthless Vows is every bit as beautiful as the first book, and this is without a doubt one of the best duologies I have read. It made me feel so many things, and could have me smiling one minute and sobbing the next. The romance between Iris and Roman is just the sweetest, but of course that doesn't mean it's smooth sailing for them. So many obstacles get in their way, but the way they feel for each other and their determination to look after each other never waivers.

I loved every second of reading this, and I will definitely be reading more by Rebecca Ross. She is an incredibly talented writer and storyteller, from the world-building to the plot and the supporting characters who are crafted in such a way that a reader can still very easily become emotionally invested in them and their fates.

A brilliant conclusion to an amazing duology, I think this is a must for any Romantasy lover.
