Love this author! I found this story very engaging from the very beginning, and I loved that I couldn’t figure out which characters to trust. Toward the beginning I found myself confused with so many characters, but by the end I think it made more sense (except for Nicole, I don’t think she was necessary). All in all, it was a page turner that I couldn’t put down!

I enjoyed this mean girl mystery. Tess is journalist who took time off to have a baby. She's trying to get back into the game by befriending and subsequently waiting a story/making a podcast (that she never gets to) a mom group at baby class that are tight knit around one of their nannies dying. Twisty. Somewhat predictable. But super entertaining! Although it didn't help that I was listening to it the first two nights of the first days of school. Had to rewind entire chapters to follow it multiple times. But that's on me.

It’s just disheartening to be left out, especially from the elite mom group, feeling a little unwanted and feeling bad for your child. Then a slight invitation for coffee and breakfast pastries makes your wishes come true. Unless the group has way more time than you and way more money than you and you’re a big phony. Plus you’re trying to get your career back by investigation the death of a beloved nanny, which was ruled an accident and the mom group knows more than they are telling and being pushy means they push back and maybe you and your kid will end up with no friends. And what if you’re just creating a story that doesn’t exist, just to feel better about yourself. What if you lose your friends, your real friends, and your husband, and your life? Was it worth it? … Pretty good read. I liked it.

Katherine Faulkner has an incredible way of leaving every single chapter off with such an insane cliffhanger that you cannot help but read "one more chapter"... and then next thing you know you just stayed up until 4am finishing a book! I'm writing this with a headache from lack of sleep but it was so worth it. I loved Greenwich Park and was so excited to hear her second book was out and it did not disappoint!! Faulkner is officially on my list of authors whose books I will automatically read without even knowing what they're about! 5 stars!!!
