Disappointing
This is by far, the worse Follett novel I've ever read. Characters so flat it was hard to tell them apart, implausible plot and oddly dated. I only finished because I'm an art buff and thought it would get interesting .

The very first chapter involves a random male character (that doesnt show up ever again) giving an incredibly awful and objectifying monologue describing the main female character's body. It doesnt get better after that.
