A solid entry in the Stephanie Plum series. This one read a bit more like a novel and less like a mystery, maybe because Morelli was out of town and Bob the Dog was able to dominate the narrative? Who knows. Anyway: the series does raise questions (when I take the time to reflect) beyond the Joe/Ranger issue: how old are they all supposed to be--that is, what's the time span these books are supposed to cover? What's Grandma Mazur's secret, since we're 30 years or so into the series? All the same: this is a fun one. Onwards!

Exactly what I expected - fun, easy, funny, quick.

I thought this was one of the better books in the series.

I can’t believe this is the first book where I questioned who in the world would insure Stephanie’s often exploding cars.

There are some interesting developments near the end. To be continued… hopefully.

Can’t go wrong with Stephanie Plum. Always makes me laugh even though it’s predictable.
