I wish I could live in Medicine River with this cast of characters Thomas King has created. He is one of my favourite authors and I find so much humour and love for human beings in his work. I love the cyclical, circling nature of his writing.

This book was very interesting on the view it showed of the aboriginal culture and stereotypes. Very well written book, with some curious stories as it challenges the societal belief of their culture! Definitely worth your while to check out!
