I wanted to really like this book but it just didn’t do it for me. The only exception was one of the exercises I found to be quite helpful/insightful (meeting your inner mentor) but the rest fell flat for me. However, that’s not to say I son’t admire what the author’s purpose of the book was - just that maybe I wasn’t the target audience for it at this time.

Yes. Yes. And yes again! How did the 30-something Mohr tap into such wisdom? Every chapter drew me in and filled me up. Thoughtful, personal, and well researched, Playing Big is now at the top of my non-fiction recommendations for all the smart women I love.

I will be recommending this to all my friends! The first three chapters really spoke to me, and I’ve already started putting them to use in my real life. My book is all marked up and dog-eared, and I know this is one I will be going back to again and again and taking away something different each time.

Amazing book if you are about to step into a project important for you. Whether that is investing more time on your self development or in your new business, baby, house project. Get the book and play big AF!
