Cora is a professor who desperately wants to go on the dig to find Lunera's temple. Roman is also a professor who desperately wants to find the temple - but without the omega professor, Cora. When they get there, they meet Archer and Bear, who will be helping them in various capacities on the dig. Little do they know that they are being watched by treasure hunter Jax, who is also very interested in the treasures trapped in the hidden temple. After a mistake by Roman, the five of them are trapped in the exact temple they seek, but unsure of how to proceed. They must endure a surprise heat and being trapped while they potentially form a pack and make it out alive.
This was a great and exciting story. The adventure was action packed, the spice was perfect for a pack trying to respect boundaries and professionalism, and the relationship building was great too. I loved seeing Roman come around, the easy acceptance and excitement from Jax, the careful unsureness from Archer, and the protective sureness of Bear. The way they all came together and took care of each other and Cora was great. Jax was such a great comedic relief. Roman had a great arc. And the epilogue was super fun too.

This book is everything I love about Omegaverse done right — fun, action-packed, emotional, and addictive. A total page-turner!
It’s an Omegaverse/Reverse Harem with MM and BDSM elements (but no shifters).
There’s so much happening — adventure, tension, worldbuilding, and an amazing plot that keeps pulling you in. The characters are so engaging, and there are little details sprinkled throughout that just made me smile. Plus, the author includes gorgeous drawings/images that help you picture what the characters are seeing. I LOVE that!
It does touch on a few darker themes, but in a way that feels thoughtful and balanced — nothing too heavy, just enough to add depth. Definitely check the “Content Considerations” first.
The FMC is an Omega with a pure heart — determined, brave, and hard-working. Her vibe is totally Evelyn from The Mummy (yes, that iconic energy!).

Oft, the hotness going on here I was not expecting! Right. I can accept that that was barely a sentence, but I need you to get that yes, sure, I was trusting that this story would be both hot and a good time, but I was not expecting it to be this hot or this fun. There is a lot of integrity to the story, too - honestly, I was thinking it would be a thin excuse for some sweaty action in a desert and that would have been fine, - but we spend a lot of time here thinking through what omegaverse bonds mean and how they will all fit together as a unit. I loved it. There were conversations about consent. I loved that even more. It's a queer normative world that gave the queer relationships space to exist in their own rights and maybe that's best of all? Basically, it's a lot more than just getting it on in the desert (and they do that too!)
Now, that's not to say there isn't a fair bit of suspension of disbelief going on here. I'm not sure in real life would everyone be so chill about Jax the treasure hunter and his sticky fingers and creeper ways. There's probably things about the archaeological dig that don't hold true, but I'm not an archaeologist and I don't have to care about that. It all made sense in-world and that's what matters here. I feel like if you can get on board with heats, slicks and knots none of the other slight eyebrow raises should be insurmountable.
This is a great author collaboration and a fun addition to the omegaverse world!

What a fun and adventurous book. This MMMFM book stars Cora going on an archeological dig with a grumpy professor alpha, meeting a burly ex-military alpha, a sweet nerdy beta scientist, and an unhinged alpha treasure hunter.

A kid from the Indiana Jones times and I did love the Mummy so when I saw this and omega-verse I was in!
Cora and Roman teach together but Roman avoids Cora like the plague. When the College gets a chance to go on a dig they are the 2 picked to head the adventure. There they meet Archer & Bear who are helping with the dig… then there is the watcher Jax. He knows Cora is for him and hopes she forgives him for what he does.
What a great omega-verse story! The spice the connections the plot it was all vibing and I loved it!!

The characters were so funny! I adored Jax in the best way possible! His chaotic nature really amped up all the relationships in such a funny way! The guys all balanced each other really well. I loved that the FMC was both an academic and had the more classic omega desires. It made her feel really relatable and real.
The comparison to The Mummy & Indiana Jones is SO spot on! The references tickled at the nostalgia bone in such a wonderful way!
This is definitely a book I would highly recommend, and it is going to be sitting on my favorites shelf for sure! Again, I LOVED 🥰 reading this book, it was such a f*cking good time!
