A reread. I loved these books when I was younger and still do.
Though a reread did make me realize there is flaws in my favourite books. 
    I realize these were written in 2005 but I do wish they didn't use an ableist slur. It was about three times once used to describe Grover.

finished this on my 14 hr flight and percy jackson continues to be the funniest child character i’ve ever read/seen. he’s so sassy and clever and an actual ADHD mascot. like several times i chuckled out loud.

really enjoyed the premise and the sorry in the first book and will finish the rest of the series

i’m also writing this as i am being held hostage by my family members in a restaurant in china at 12 AM and i’m about to pass out
