Pretty good for a middle grade book and intro to the series but I don’t have the nostalgia factor to give this a higher rating

I could see myself giving The Lightning Thief 5 stars if I had only read it 10 years ago when it was first published. I've always loved mythology and to see the stories come to life then would have been incredible! I still had a good time reading this and remembering tales from D'Aulaires Book of Greek Myths and Edith Hamilton's Mythology! There are so many questions about this world I want answered... so on to Sea of Monsters!

Mi saga favorita definitivamente. Estos libros se sintieron como un abrazo cada vez que los leía, son muy fáciles de leer. Hay algunos errores con la mitología pero los amo igual.

It’s different than the movie, just because of the presence of Ares, and that comes the best part on the novel! Wonderful! Read next sequel!
