Cute but SO SHORT! It delivers a flavor of the boys at Monmouth Manufacturing, just enough to tease those who are already invested in the series.

I’ve just read this because I haven’t been this sad for… I don’t know if I’ve ever been this sad, and I need Gansey, the character I relate to the most. It did not disappoint.

I'm not sure when I first read this short since I didn't add a date the first go around but I wanted to re-read it before the holidays. It's ALWAYS a good time for more Raven Boys and I just love Maggie Stiefvater's writing with this series and the way it makes me feel. I get so many more feels seeing these characters around Christmas! I mean, there's always something weird going on with this lot. It's such a fun short and I just adore these boys.

I could easily giving this a 4 because I just love how Maggie writes, but it's so short and I needed more so there you have 3.5. I was happy to get back into this. I intend of reading the third book next week before the fourth one comes out.

2018 Spring:

Just another Raven Cycle snippet as I made sure I had caught up on everything written in this series at learning of Opal, and wanting to be prepared for the books of dreaming and Ronan coming soon. This Christmas snippet was of Gansey and some strange, mystical carolers who continue to follow him around the world, and it gives us tiny hints of the still forthcoming ends of the books while they were being written.

I found this one so lovely, and it reminded me why I so deeply loved Gansey.
