A lot continues to happen in this volume. Quite a bit of time apparently passes between this volume and the previous one and so there's a lot of flashbacks about what happened within that time, and the situations are all a pretty hot mess. Sometimes it's easy to forget that the characters in this story are high school seniors because the situation has pushed them to grow up faster than normal, but with the focus on Karen in these issues, it's easy to remember. She's still not my favorite character--although she has changed a lot since the beginning, she's still incredibly selfish and it's irritating. Also, why am I not surprised with the new villain of the story? Things are really building up to the climax in this volume! You can read my full review on my blog.
