Apparently I like the odd-numbered volumes of this better than the even ones.

I'm still enjoying this, but I found this volume a bit chaotic and unfocused. The artwork remains amazing, but even just 3 days after finishing, I'd have a hard time really saying what happened in this one.

A time jump gives us the opportunity to catch up with the characters during a bit of a lull in the action after the heavy drama of the previous volume. The peace (of course) doesn’t last, and the creators introduce some interesting new forces to the narrative, the history of which begs to be explored further.

The art is just as impressive as the previous volumes. I love how the electric violets, pinks, blues, and greens makes this world feel so alien. Not much happened in this volume, but I can see where it's leading and it's fantastic. Every volume the writers manage to add a new and exciting element and this one didn't fail to deliver!

This series still continues to be one of my favourites. I just love the characters and the weirdness of the story and the art work is wonderful, the colours always work so perfectly together.
I wish I didn't have to wait so long in between each volume!

Definitely not my favorite from the series. However I am still thoroughly enjoying our characters and how they're growing and adapting. I also like the introduction of a new "villain" to the story! Excited to see what Volume 5 has in store!

I really loved the premise of this series. But I’m starting to become more and more disappointed with each volume. Fingers crossed it starts picking back up again.

The pacing for this series is questionable, at times, but this volume was terribly interesting.

I love this series, though I found the time skip a little jarring.
The last arc was just staring to blow my mind and now we're onto a new one, and I think it slowed the pace a bit, but it's setting up for another great arc, so I'm definitely not complaining.
The characters are all still as lovable (and hatable-- I'm looking at you Casey) as ever and I love the fragmented society thing that's going on. Very Walking Dead.
