Such a cute rom com, a tale of what if you could go back and do things differently? Is getting what you wish for everything it’s cracked up to be. I found this funny and sad and cute and left me with all the feels. Could definitely picture it as a movie

Excellent premise & loved the character development but the ending was a little disappointing. I want to know what happened if she did travel back or have it that she never travels back

Quirky, fun, lost in time romantic comedy...or comedy of our youthful errors!
So often, what we really want and need, is right in front of us.

Fancy Meeting You Here by Ali Berg and Michelle Kalus.
I read the Book Ninja a couple of years ago and really loved it. Ali and Michelle have done it again. If you’ve ever asked yourself ‘what if’ or had the perfect life set out in your imagination this book asks would it really be what you expected? It’s a lot of fun, filled with 20 something angst. Perfect for lightening the mood after an intense day at work. Won’t change the world but there’s laughter to be had.

A fun, at times serious story about finding yourself, and self belief. Also that you can be surprised at any time.
Fast paced, rom com of a book, well written by two women from Melbourne.
Good read.

I borrowed the audiobook because I liked the title and I saw the book on some lists.
I'm glad I didn't read the blurb (I rarely do) as I probably would have avoided it because a major aspect involves a time warp twist - and I don't care for them.

As I stated plenty of times before, for me, when it comes to genre literature, the devil is in the details. I liked the characters, the fast pacing, so I enjoyed spending a few hours pottering around the house while listening to this audiobook.

I probably won't remember much about it in a couple of weeks, but that's the fate of many other books.

This was really fun! A time-travel rom com that also acknowledges the tropes of rom-coms (and time travel stories).

This is the type of book you read tucked up on a comfy couch, wrapped in your favourite blanket with a cup of chicken soup nearby. It is a lovely, fun read.

We have Evie who, in her early 30s is wondering about how best to move her career as a screenwriter (aspiring) forward, how to juggle her job and how to contain a rather lusty desire for an as yet out-of-reach famous and rather gorgeous writer, Hugo Hearst.

Now this is not an unusual situation to find yourself in - pondering about how you got to where you are, have you made the best decisions in your life and how will you get where you need to be. Generally we have to make the best of what we have and live with the consequences of our choices.

Evie however, gets the chance to change her own history when she is suddenly flung back a decade in time with a shot at rewriting her own future, including perhaps a chance to get close and personal with Hugo.

Yes, I was able to predict what would happen, but that did not matter a jot as this book is so delightfully written that I found myself absorbed in Evie's struggles and the decisions she got to make again. Would changing the decisions she originally made 10 years ago, change her future self? What would the consequences be? Is it really good to be able to change history?

There were happy moments, sad moments and laugh out loud moments - a book highly recommended for a lazy afternoon.
