I picked this book out for my "January" read and I'm so glad I did! It was a super cute and fun read! It had a great premise and I had a good time. I felt it was really fast pace too and was done in one sitting. 
I do feel like the middle-ish wasn't really thought out enough, it felt rushed. I felt confused as to why the characters were confused and it just didn't make sense sometimes to me. HOWEVER! I loved the style of writing as a whole and I felt the ending tied up nicely. Would definitely recommend to anyone wants a Christian or just even a clean romance, this is your quick read, you'll enjoy!!

Let me first begin by saying that I liked A January Bride. I did. Really. But...it was initially a little hard for me to get into. It did not draw me in as I had hoped it would. In all honesty, I had to encourage myself to keep reading. I'm glad I did. What followed was a sweet, funny, and totally interesting love story. With that said, the love that came to be between Art and Maddy was on stealth speed. Uh...yep. All in all, this was a clean, cute Christian romance.

A January Bride is the second book from the A Year of Weddings series. This book was about Maddie and Art. Their relationship was pretty unique because they were sort of pen pals before they ever met each other. Of course.. they both had their own image and assumptions for the person would look and act like. Some of the assumptions were hilarious - which is why I really enjoyed this book.

Remember how I said they were sort of pen pals? Yeah, okay.. more like note pals? It was honestly cute.. I remember writing notes with my friends every now and then in High School.. but other than that we would just text each other.

Overall, Maddie and Art were pretty cute. I laughed so hard because they thought the other person was so freaking old. A lot older than they were. Again, some of the assumptions were funny. However, that's all I really got from this short book. I guess I just expected a little bit more in this book - like the first book.
