This book again doesn't hit as hard for me as the first 4, but it's still good, and definitely starts driving the narrative forward into the end game.

I do love the boldness of the author including himself as a character and creator of this world and the characters in it. It's trippy and wonderful.

I would really love to love this series but I do struggle to keep up, there are some complicated relationships. An interesting read this one as we meet an author named Stephen King among others. King must have had some fun with that, especially the diary entires at the end.

I find I spend half of these books trying to remember what happened in previous books as often references can go back quite a way. However I am this far invested I need to continue to the end.
