While I enjoyed reading this book, and wanted to know what happened to the characters, I found myself disappointed with the ending, which felt a bit like a cop-out. Heteros must couple up and all that. But all in all, it's good.

I finished this book because everyone says it's beautiful, but it's actually gross. I never want to hear anyone give Kristin Hannah crap for having so much tradegy hit one person. She is nothing compared to everything this family goes through. And maybe you're not supposed to take this book to seriously because the book's whole plot is sex, but it's bizarre.

I know, I can't possibly say this is also my favorite Irving book. Either I'm a liar or they are all just too good to sort out.
The usual Irving tropes make their appearance in this memorable story, loaded with comic moments and relatable characters. There's even a talking bear. Recommended for Irving aficionados.

Irving is just such a great author. Quirky, funny, and so original. I always experience such a wide range of emotion with his books. Sometimes tears, at other times such anxiety that I am not sure I can continue reading, but always laughter. So many times I dropped this book simply because I was laughing so hard. Truly one of the great authors of our time.
