Great entry in the the Green Valley universe! I really enjoyed the relationship between Levi and Jocelyn - maybe a little too long of a slow burn but it worked!

I adore a good friends to lovers romance. This one was absolutely adorable.
Levi is the loviest cinnamon roll. It’s been awhile since I read such a squishy, sexy, loving man. He has been in love with Jos since the moment he saw her. Not just her beauty but her grit and spunk along with her riotous curls and stunningly beautiful blue eyes.
Jos has not felt whole since she lost the ability to walk due to an infection. She has worked harder, done more, kept trying as the world often dismissed or pitied her. Levi has been her rock. He’s her best friend and constant companion. She hasn’t dated but now finds herself having “dating” feelings when a handsome man flirts with her at work.
I love that once Levi sees that Jos might be interested in dating someone, he goes all in. He offers to help but when he sees his chance, he tells her how he feels. There is adjustment and steps back but there is never lying or cheating or hatefulness.
These two are just so amazing and I must say this is one of the best “first” times I’ve ever read. I really loved this book and seeing Jen, Cletus, and Ash was a wonderful bonus.

I loved Baking Me Crazy so much- it was perfection! Penny Reid is an absolute literary genius and I am over the moon for her Smartypants Romance spin-off books. I adored going back to Green Valley and the cameos from favorite Winston Brothers characters were fantastic. But Joss and Levi stole the show with their friends-to-lovers story. Levi's courting of Joss had me swooning. Together they were magic- his thoughtfulness and her ultra strong determined personality went together so well. This story was so unique and different and had me smiling he whole way through. I am so excited to read more Smartypants books!

I liked this book about an inter-abled couple where the MMC respected her autonomy while supporting the FMC to accommodate her. Not preachy or performative- just a genuine love story where one member of the couple happens to use a mobility device

This was a sweet friends to lovers story! I don’t know if I’ve ever read a story with a wheelchair user as the lead, and I absolutely loved having the disability representation. I liked the way the male lead supported her, I thought their friend dynamic was great, and there was some legit pining on the male lead’s side. I honestly preferred the first half of this book to the second half because I think I wanted more of a transition from friends to lovers. This was a pretty short book, and I think I might have enjoyed it more if it was more fleshed out. However, this book also managed to have an instalove story that I really enjoyed, so that’s saying something! 🗣👥🫅🏼🤕☁️
