Simple but adorable!!
The diary of Greg Heffley, a middle school boy. Eventhough he said his purpose to write his story is for "answer people's stupid questions when he rich and famous", but still for me, this is his diary. hahaha!
His activities, people around him, foolishness, stupidity, the smart illustrations, all of them completely made my day! :D

It feels kind of silly to review a book I read when I was like 10 but here we are. I didn’t have a single moment of “oh I remember reading this” but there was something quite comforting about the whole thing. I laughed out loud a few times and Manny is so chaotic I love him

Surprisingly cute. I read it with my elementary schooler who loved it.
My children loved this book and almost came to blows over who got to read it first. I can see the appeal but I personally didn't find it as funny as they did. Yes, parts where really funny but other parts just made me roll my eyes. But I would definitely recommend it for pre-teens.
Illustrated journal of a middle school-age boy. It was funny, my husband and I both read it and laughed. Rated PG because there are some cruel jokes played on kids in this story.
