This book had me sobbing by the end. It was such a refreshing take on second (or fifth) chances and how the smallest things impact not only us but the people around us. I really enjoyed that in each scenario , nothing turned out exactly the same. It was also lovely that the multiple chances wasn’t just about her romance, but also about her friendships and relationships with her mom and sister.

I was not going to rate this one but what the heck. Doing it anyways. I have no clue what happened. I kept reading hoping to get there but I'm over the forcing myself to deal with it.

I'm out.

I really wanted to love this one, and I certainly liked the premise and some of the more lyrical writing. But much of the time I struggled to feel invested. A big problem for me was there was no explanation as far as I could tell regarding the time loop. How does Lou trigger it? How is she not more curious about it?

The pacing felt off in some of the scenes, and I didn't really connect enough with any of the characters to care where this story went. And because I knew there would be five chances, I found myself eager to skim to the end and just see how the story came together.
