I just don’t see any romance happening

I finished this entire series in one day, and I do not regret it. 5/5 stars.

Interesting concept but that's all there is to it.

It starts off well. I enjoyed the first 30% of the book after that it fell completely flat for me. It was giving Avengers 1 Loki vibes but I found myself getting bored of it soon.

The FMC, Rain who in her own words describes herself as an Aries girl.. surprisingly is not such a quirky or cringe personality. The MMC, Wrath is a demon king and compared to Rain he doesn't have a lot to himself. The author tried to make him seem hot and mysterious but he just came across as cold and boring. There's no chemistry between the two of them. It's all super insta lusty.

The plot had no depth. The side characters lacked personality and zeal.

The ending was...meh. I don't see myself continuing with the series.

@Leonie bestie, won't recommend it.

You know what I always wanted a good book about some Demon King, it was a thing I wanted and I never found a book that scratched the itch. But boy oh boy did this do the trick. First of all, this story is so cool and refreshing, I love that its set in the modern world. Second of all Rain, she is my girl, I wonna be like her and I wonna be friends with her. She is a funny, interesting and realistic main character. Her sense of humour matches mine on every level.

Now for the juiciest part. WRATH. God's above I'd let him do anything to me, full stop. He is a proper Villain in this story, as all morally grey characters they have reason for what they do and why but Wrath even though he hold those reasons to heart is still a Villain, he will do anything he has to, to achive his goals. He is dominating, possesive, dangerous and powerful. Swoon worhty.

Once the slow burn ended ( wasn't even that long the book is like 250 pages) the spice was toe curling.

If you are looking for a fun, action packed, romance filled with supernaturals this is the series for you.

Easy & unrealistic smutty read. Perfect for my in between reads of the novels that require a lot of thinking.

This was pretty boring most of the way through. Not much spice. The last couple chapters were really entertaining though, so I will read the next book to see if it gets better.
