Interesting twist to things.

Although aspects of this book were great, it’s probably my least favorite of the series. I love that things are finally moving forward with Lexie and the guys and you get to her spend more time with each of them, you also have some repetition with certain things. Mike’s resistance to them being all out as a group was understandable but frustrating when it’s the same conversation several times.

I loved the classroom scenes and school scenes the best, but you oh almost don’t get enough of them. Loved the twists with some of the characters and can’t wait to see how the series ends.

"Blood doesn't make you family. Love, loyalty, support, sacrifice. That is what makes you a family."

Some good things never last and this saying never rang true than this newest installment. Why did it end so fast? I NEED MORE! I WANT MORE!

There are series out there that you will like to read, a handful that you will love, and there are books that you will feel so deeply in love with that it feels like a part of your soul. It's like you live and breathe that book world. That my friend, is what I feel for this whole series. I fell deeper and deeper as the characters grew more matured, as they step up into the role that they have been given, and as they embrace the changes that was brought into their lives.

I can't emphasize how much I love Isaac and Miles. While Miles broke my heart a little in this story (you will have to read this book to know what I was talking about), I was so proud of Isaac for having the courage to face his demons. Ethan and Asher, whew! May I just say, it was really hawt! And our resident Tough Guy, Zeke made me cry. My poor heart bleeds for this beautifully broken man *sighs*

I'm still reeling after days of reading this book and I have a lot of questions that need answers. Book 9 can't come soon enough!

5 stars

This continues to be an all-time favorite series. The characters, world building, relationships, everything. I do think there's the possibility of the story getting out of control. There are starting to be a ton of characters developing strong secondary side stories. That being said, READ THIS SERIES

This book actually has the lowest rating I've given so far for this series. With all the different POVs it was a bit confusing, as well as trying to follow the timeline since some things seemed to have happened in the past book as well and was never talked about again (Jason being beaten up).

⭐ didn't like/DNF
⭐⭐ was okay but I probably won't look for any sequels
⭐⭐⭐ it was good I'll likely read the next one
⭐⭐⭐⭐ I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was great and I'll definitely be looking for any sequels
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I loved it so much I'm adding it to my cart to buy paperback

Okay things are really picking up now. The person behind the damage to the Veil is pretty much revealed (have to say I had 3 people in mind and one of them is this person lol).

We get a chapter from Rory (yay) though I have to admit. At the end what happened to Rory, in the "epilogue" which is the very next day it wasn't addressed at all. He was fine. No comment. That. That I really hope gets addressed very quickly in the next boom because it's not his character at all.

Miles ... Miles character has taken a full 180 and well I dont really like that. Other than him the boys and Lexie are working their relationships out.

Hmm I'm not sure if this should all be wrapped up in one more book, I feel like there should be at least 2 more with the pace things have been set for the last 8 books

loved it

Such an awesome story. I don’t know that these books can really be classified as reverse harem, there is no romance to them, it’s more paranormal suspense than anything remotely fitting into the sexy times.
