What can I say. 4th book, 5th floor.
You'd only be reading this if you've already read the rest and you'll probably read this no matter what I say.  So let's keep it short:

The series has issues with the portrayal of people and mental health. The series chews everything up for you to make sure you don't miss anything which I think takes a solid star off of what the book could be.
But Carl is Carl and Carl is here to blow shit up and step on things. Good addition to the series I am still hooked

Shamelessly fast and furious adventures with the familiar recipe. Every time I start wondering when I get bored with this, the author has brings something new to keep me excited. Off to the next part!

I'm trying to pace myself because these books are just too good and there are only six at the moment.  Without some self control I would have finished them all in a month.  As it is, I listen to one, then listen to a few other books before I can't take it anymore and hop into the next DCC.
Feral Gods was excellent.  I would have been happier had it been 6 hours longer but I will take what I can get.  I'm totally psyched for the next entry.

I understand WHY there are more people dying now, but I don't have to like it :///

Easier to follow than the trains, but still a bit hard to follow in parts. I still love the characters, the interactions, and the growth, and am excited to see what happens next. I just wish there was less lore/battle stuff to keep track of - maybe it's easier when reading it serially?
