This book is not like any of the Harry Potter books before. It has dark undertones throughout the book and we kind of get to really feel like we're there with Harry through his 5th year. The book is just overall better than the movie, and the movie was great.
This is the worst book of them all, Harry I hate your thoroughly

Defence Against the Dark Arts (O): Cornish pixie! Swat it away with a book written by an English author or set in England
Disney Readathon 2019 - Team Tangled
Rapunzel: Read a book with glowing reviews
I finally finished the longest book in the series. Compare to the other books in the series, the pacing of this book is quite slow. Things started to get interesting and intense only at the last 200 pages.
I don't like Harry temper in this book at all. I get that he is having some hard time but that is not a good excuse for being mean and harsh to your friends. He is so stubborn and arrogant here. Everyone warned him about his temper but he never listen to it and I wasn't happy that he shouted at Dumbledore. Dumbledore just saved his ass and he was there being angry. I get that he was upset and grieving of Sirius death but that is Kreacher's fault, not Dumbledore's. Also, I was mad that he didn't take Occlumency seriously at all. I know he has every rights to be skeptical about Snape but he is part of the Order and Dumbledore trusted him a lot. I know he hated Snape, same goes to me but it is for your safety and the others around you. Why are you not listening?
With that being said, I love that Harry is finally getting the consequences. He always lucky and managed to get away from everything but now he finally knows the consequences for listening. Hopefully, he learned from it and not be a brat in the next book.
Though I hated Ron a lot in the previous book, I kind of feel bad for him here. He was elected to be prefect and getting better in Quidditch but no one was there see him. I was so sad that his twin brothers weren't around to see his goal in Quidditch. Anyway, when Ron finally got the spotlight, Harry decided to be salty about it. Aside from that, I really like Neville. Particularly in this book, it finally shows his bravery and loving personality and it is so amazing to see this increased characterization. His training with the Dumbledore's army is so awesome too! I just love him.
Well, 2 more books to go and I'm done with the series.
