I didn't know what this book was about because I got it for free by pressing random buttons but HOLY SMOKES. I finished it one sitting(A little les than 4 hours). The beginning feels like the author was just edging us on, but in the best way possible. Not to mention how she made the flashbacks with Danni's previous lover low through so nicely. This book was more than an erotica. I can't explain it, you'll just have to read it. The only reason I gave it four stars was because THAT ENDING- WE DIDN'T NEED THAT. Now I have to go mow my grandma's lawn to get some money so I can get my skeletal fingers on the next two books in this series.

Where do I begin with One Is A Promise? What do I say without spoiling this book for others? The answer is not much but I'll try.
There are things that happen during the course of this book, most of it I saw coming so it wasn't shocking but there are others, one in particular that blindsided me, I totally didn't see that coming at all, such a jaw dropping moment.
This author knows how to weave a great story that keeps you flipping pages even when you're not overly enthused by what's taking place you cannot help but continue reading because you're so invested in the journey that there isn't anything else to do but that.
The wait for the next book just might kill me. I'll be counting down the seconds, minutes, hours and weeks till I get my hands on it.
I highly recommend this book, it's full of twisty goodness.

4.5 ⭐️ I really liked the FMC and I am very glad she didn’t act like she didn’t realize she was attractive and owned her strengths and flaws. The jealousy trope is ALL OVER this book (and i am assuming series) so if that ain’t your thing this won’t be your book. This only got dinged 1/2 star because i felt the meeting between Cole and Danni was TOO CHEESY. Can’t wait for the next books!
