This book is soooo intense and dark but wow was it captivating once the plot started building. I have to admit that the beginning was pretty slow and I almost gave up on it. I read a different book and then came back to this one for a second chance and realized I put it down right before it started speeding up. Highly recommend if you love mystery thrillers and can handle the really (really) dark stuff. I’m glad I picked it back up because this story will stick with me for a long time! The audiobook was fantastic (save for the way the narrator pronounced the name “Julia” like “jool-ya” lol)
