Unfortunately the weakest of the trilogy. The time travel aspect we got in this one was really fun and fast paced, unfortunately the ending let me down so much. It felt so anticlimactic and rushed especially compared to the first half of the book and how much space the contents took up. I did overall really really love the trilogy, I just wished for a different ending (also I found the last 100pages or so extremely confusing. Idk if that was a me problem or a story problem)

I was skeptical at first because of the time travel storylines but it ended quite nicely and I came really close to crying at the end. It’s not many writers who are daring enough to introduce time travel in their stories and have the actual creativity and writing prowess to make it work. Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff definitely made it work. Absolutely recommend if you love stories with a found family of outcasts and / or sci-fi stories.

-.- biggest disappointment of an ending I’ve ever experienced.

So anticlimactic & felt like it was going somewhere MUCH bigger. It’s only getting three stars because it started strong & the rest of the story from previous books carried this.
