this book actually makes sense and has a point

I’m suprised I loved this one so much, okayyy!!! Maybe I spoke too soon because it’s starting to get good
fast-paced

This is told form Adam’s pov from before the war that happens in unravel me, giving more details on what happened on the fight and while Juliette was MIA.
It was interesting seeing Juliette through another person, and finally someone acknowledging Juliette has no preparation to be and fight in a war.
I am in the minority just because I don’t hate Adam. He is a protector and is traumatised by his father and being a soldier under Warner’s command. His actions are justified, they just don’t center around Juliette, instead he worries for his brother safety.
This being said, the personality change from Juliette pov and Adam’s pov was jarring, and I can’t help but think Juliette does not see Adam as he is or he has changed a lot in the last book without Juliette noticing.
I was also very happy with the writing, very straightforward and easy to read.

This was pure pain. Adam's perspective made me want to throw up. He just thinks Juliette js a lil silly, weak and helpless girl.

The only thing, that was good in this book, was that at the end he thought ut was hus fault that Juliette died (she obviously didn't but that diesnt matter).

Very long overdue cause I hate adam #dramaqueen

This book made me realize Adam doesn't see Juliette as an equal. He sees her as someone he has to protect, which is understandable because he witnessed every single injustice that was done to her. But! I still don't agree with his opinions.

He isn't encouraging her to grow. He's letting her be complacent with where and how she is at the moment, which, in my opinion, is much more dangerous than having her explore her potential.

One thing I can't fault him for is being torn between James and Juliette, his family, and the person he "loves." I can't wait to read the next book!!
