Just finished this beautifully put novel !

And what a novel it is !

I was also surprised at the ending i guess, but i won't spoil it !

I recommend it to most people, it's a good, informative read, although you might feel tired reading Alberto's monnologues (and that's basically what they are, since Sophie's interruptions aren't that informative which is fair enough, it's a philosophy textbook after all)
Also most of it reads as nonfiction since it's retelling of the history of philosophy!
Argh this revew is starting to state the obvious!
Anyways, good read, worth the time, will probably check out more of this author's work !
informative slow-paced

This was a weird one. I absolutely loved trying to figure it out; I had plenty of overlapping things. But when I finally finished it was like, 'Oh. That's it?' It was a bit of a letdown, I had expected more.

1.5? 2? Read it for school, was not a fan.

It was actually tough to get through this book as the narrative was sparely interspersed with the writer's interpretation of the history of philosophy. It's worth it in the end.
