Me ha gustado muchísimo. Me he vuelto a sentir en segundo de bachillerato y me he vuelto a acordar por qué me apasionaba tanto la filosofía. En cuanto a la historia, me parece super entrañable; cómo se van desarrollando los acontecimientos, lo hermosamente ficticios pero reales que notas los personajes, lo muchísimo que se nota todos los guiños que te hace el autor a través de la metahistoria que te cuenta… LEEDLO

it was an interesting read, wish the book spent a little more time on eastern philosophies instead of only covering western history.

I loved the first and last one hundred pages, but the middle was way too dense with philosophy lectures. It just felt like the author was talking at me over little details that didn't really help the plot. I loved the ending though and the parts between the lectures and when hilde was introduced. The philosophy was very interesting it just was a lot compared to the rest of the book.

Hard one to rate. I think the idea of the book is excellent, however it reads like a textbook with a novel shoehorned into the middle of it, or vice versa. I didn't not like it, but I don't think I'll read it again.

This was my introduction to philosophy. Sophie the protagonist finds mysterious letters in her post box and through these she discovers the great Western Philosophers beginning with Socrates and Plato and going through to Marx and Sartre... I enjoyed it immensely at first but felt the book finally was too ambitious trying to cover so many different philosophies.
