I really don’t have any words besides the author has a beautiful pen. I did enjoy the manner in which things were described and I enjoy her style of writing, I just wasn’t sure where the story was going in some parts. Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. Don’t know if I’ll read the next one. But, I’m also a person that can’t leave things undone, so I have to finish it the story right? We’ll see.

I believe this was a great horror novel, but I got a little lost in the plot some. I know french, but I didn't really know enough to keep from getting confused. I liked the Black Swan type element to it though. I'll give the second novel a try and see how I like it.

It took me awhile to get into this book. I really loved the concept but the writing did not flow well in my brain. Having finished the book I find myself still having a lot of questions. I enjoyed this but I didn’t love it. I want to know where the story goes but am not sure I’m ready to read the sequel.
