This book was not for me.

I didn't like the main characters. It didn't feel Christmasy to me and I really disliked the food/diet conversations.

Maybe it's because I love HGTV and lighthearted romance novels but this book was just the perfect read for me for Christmas!

It has a sassy FMC who is a badass, hardworking woman with big goals and a handsome MMC that's steady and loving.

The side characters like the FMC's british assistant Henry or her hot co-star Derek make for great friends and added humor!

Overall, it's just a feel good story about reviving a town after a natural disaster while the FMC and MMC fall in love! It's also a bit spicy too!

Overall, a great Christmas read and I really enjoyed the author's writing since it's my first book by her!
