It’s a 3.5 from me, dawg. Could have been a 4, but all the references to why she couldn’t just EAT THE DAMN FOOD SHE WANTED was so annoying to me. I don’t need to be reminded every other chapter that she needs to “look good for the camera” and hints to why eating the food she wanted to eat would make her “stuffed like a Turkey” like… 1) not relevant to the plot, and 2) let’s not food or body shame! Eat whatever makes you happy because life is short!
It was a fast and cute read, but also very predictable.

The book equivalent of a Hallmark Christmas movie…except for the occasional X-rated scene.

The Christmas Fix by Lucy Score is a holiday romance brimming with heart, heat, and holiday spirit.
The town of Merry faces devastation after a hurricane causes severe flooding just weeks before Christmas, putting their economy—and beloved holiday traditions—at risk. The town’s survival depends on a Christmas miracle, and it comes in the form of Cat, a reality TV star renowned for her home renovation show. Cat convinces the skeptical mayor, Noah, to let her crew restore the town in time for a grand Christmas Eve reveal, hoping the show’s coverage will bring much-needed visitors and cheer.
Sparks fly between Noah and Cat, and all I can say is it should be illegal to have this much spice in a Christmas book!
It’s a fun story with some depth and a ton of holiday heat!
