I received this as an ARC and it did not disappoint, i was so excited to finally get Ryots story as he has refused to talk to anyone since the death of his wife and is just so angry.

This is a princess/bodyguard, arranged marriage, Dom/sub, billionaire romance with a possessive alpha male and a feisty, curvy princess.

After meeting in a club when Aurelia sneaks past her security to enjoy a night out before her betrothed wedding, she shares a kiss with Ryot while pretending he is her husband in order to shake off a creepy guy who wont leave her alone.

Flash forward a little while and Ryot is now the head of her security and her personal body guard while a threat to her life needs to be dealt with and eventually leads to them getting married in order for him to keep her safe and with Ryots family being so rich they can invest in Aurelia's country and help the economy.

Ryots previous marriage was so heart-breaking and his hurt isn't exactly as i assumed from the previous books. These 2 are made for each other they bring out the best in each other and Aurelia helps heal Ryot and make him a better man.

I devoured this book. From page one I couldn't put it down. It's a captivating read with an excellent storyline. The writing is flawless and the main characters were perfection. The fake marriage, brooding bodyguard, royalty/princess and grumpy x sunshine were some of my favorite tropes. I aksi liked the suspense, the action, the found family, and the plot in this. It's an unpredictable page turner packed with twists.  A definite must read that won't disappoint.
