This was a lighter read than I expected. It was fun, not too long and the characters are very likeable. Not the most complicated book ever, but that's also not a bad thing. After reading GOT this was a nice break from all the high lords and ladies and the information overload. I would reread this. I only wish we had a longer conclusion to know how all the other characters are doing.

If you're looking for a fun read, this is the book for you.

Loved this book!

I can’t express how much I love this book. It was absolutely perfect in every way. If I could I would give it 6 stars.

Intriguing and engrossing! This book was a wild ride from start to finish. I couldn’t put it down and lived for the discoveries the heroine made along the way about herself and those around her. The time loop concept was unique and fascinating. Each day was a chance to right some wrongs, or live and love selfishly without regret!

I’ll be honest, I didn’t know this was a reverse harem bully romance when I started the book. I just figured it was a typical bully romance read based on the portion of this novel that I read in the Bully Me Anthology. But, I was pleasantly surprised with how much I actually liked each of the male characters and understood why the heroine ended up having a connection with all 3 of them. Each man held unique qualities and brought out different feelings and emotions in the heroine.

I can honestly say, I liked every character in this story! (Well except for maybe Erina!) They had their own drama and history which brought such emotion and multi layered complexity to the read. There were so many sub storylines going on in the background but they were neither distracting or confusing.

I loved seeing the heroine Karma grow over the course of the story and prove how mature and compassionate she was toward everyone who’d wronged her and broken her spirit. She loved fiercely. I was completely captivated by her loyalty to her best friends and her loving family dynamic. She was surrounded by such kind hearted people, aside from her tormentors.

I didn’t see the ending coming and was a little heartbroken at the reality of that whole conclusion to the time loop plot but the author brought it back around to a wonderful HEA.

I’d love to see where these characters ended up after the 3 year time jump epilogue!

Once I realized this is a groundhog's day type book, I almost didn't finish it. I don't like those type of themes. But, I kept reading. The author did a good job with there not being too much redundancy. I didn't like the part where the heroine thought she needed to sacrifice herself in order to end the loop, thought that was a bad message. But it all ended well.

The ending is just rush and meh

Devils’ Day Party completely took me by surprise.
Devils’ Day Party tells the story of Karma, a girl who gets stuck in a time loop and seems doomed to repeat the same day every day. Unfortunately for her the day she repeats is the day of the Devils’ Day Party. This is a weird town tradition where the local high schools dress up and spend a night in the woods with masks on. A complete day/night of debauchery.

Our main character is on the outs with one of the more popular groups at school, and has been the target of their bullying since freshman year.

To be completely honest, even though I love the authors other works, I was hesitant to download this title. I feel like every book I see in my kindle recommendations is a RH bully romance and I am TIRED of them! I’m not a huge fan of the whole – guy is a jerk but I fall in love with him – romances and even though I liked the first couple I read, they now seem redundant.

But CM Stunich usually puts out bomb books and this one I knew I had to read even if the premise was based on two tropes I am growing tired of: bully romances and reverse harem romances.

So with hesitancy I downloaded this novel.

And I’m so glad I did download Devils’ Day Party.
The way these characters were presented was so artfully done. I have to say that no character in this book (except maybe April) was perfectly honest, good, or nice. They all had trouble pasts and serious hang ups that caused them to act up. The enter this time loop and it gave me (and Karma) to see the characters in a whole new light.

No these characters aren’t super likable and IRL they throw all kinds of red flags. But in this story they were beautifully broken and I loved it! Seriously I can’t tell you how many books I started and gave up on because of the bully or RH theme, but this book drew me in and swept me up in its intriguing plot line.

What I enjoyed most was how each day in the time loop Karma learned more about the people around her that she didn’t before. It was this sense of constant discovery that made this book so fascinating to read.

In conclusion, I would 100% recommend Devils’ Day Party
The best thing I can say about why you should pick up a copy of this book is that it kept my attention even though I am currently avoiding books with similar themes. This book had the HEA, the enemies to lovers trope, and constant twists that were completely unexpected. I LOVED this book.

Loved this book! Karma had to make some difficult decisions to get herself out of her time loop. She had to realize that the world was all about balance and she had to figure out what that balance was. It was a little emotional but it was worth it in the end.
