Definitely interesting

CM is one of those authors that I love everything she writes. This book is the almost exception

Spice: 3.5/5
Tropes: High School Bully Romance, Time Loop, Enemies to Lovers
Main Characters: Calix, Barron, Raz, Karma
KINDLE UNLIMITED

Karma has been picked on by the schools 3 most popular guys and she has no idea why, but although they may bully her she can’t help but be drawn to them. On Devils Day, a day of debauchery in her town, she accidentally runs into one of their cars at a gas station and the next day relives the same event. She finds herself in a time loop on Devils Day and going head to head with Calix, Raz and Barron over and over again. As she experiments with her days and they begin to unravel, she finds out that their feelings toward her may not be all angry, one of her best friends is being shady, there is a secret sex tape of her and she hasn’t been the best daughter.

This is a Stand-alone, Reverse Harem, MMFM (little MM Action) High School Bully Romance. I loved reading Karma’s trip though all her relived days and the way she experimented with the events and the time loop. You get a full story, character backgrounds and a little mystery all within this quick reverse harem. The writing is super easy to read, and the story kept me hooked. I loved all the boys and getting to know their personalities and backgrounds and why they are the way they are with Karma. The chemistry is great, and C. M. Stunich knows how to do some hot sexy scenes.

Any Fans of the show Supernatural? Remember the episode where Sam relives the same episode over and over again? This book is that but with a RH spice! Calix, Barron, & Raz will make you want to slash their tires one minute then wish you were the FMC. C.M. Stunich did an amazing job writing this story with so much plot, while not altering the "repeat" day. Always check trigger warnings as this is a dark bully romance!

Mind blown

Wow I don’t even have words right now! I’m not gonna lie I did have to keep pausing this book because I was torn between wanting to finish and not wanting to. This book has completely blown my mind. From start to finish this book took me through every single emotion I can think of. I would definitely recommend this book but with a warning, keep going and don’t give up reading it is all worth it in the end!

Well done CM Stunich! I am a huge fan and have loved every book of yours that I have read but this one well and truly messed with my head and I don’t think I’m ever going to recover!!

Loved This Book

Imagine if you had to live one day over and over again, stuck in a time loop (like the film Groundhog's Day), and throw in some hot guys (whom are bullies) and amazing besties and lots of art and the wildest high school party ever...and then you'll have this book.

Karma is the poor local girl attending the local fancy boarding school for delinquents. But, rich kids with issues are the absolute worst. She's been relentlessly bullied by 3 boys of the Knight's Crew since freshman year, and though they treat her terribly she still feels this weird connection to them.

Devil's Day is this weird local holiday where people don masks and dance around a bonfire in an effort to spook away any real devils...but mostly it's just a day filled with debauchery. Anything goes. And today of all days is the day that Karma has to relive for what seems to be an eternity. The universe has a cruel sense of humour. Karma has some lessons to learn.

Without going in to details, because spoilers...there were several moments in the book that made me cry. I could blame hormones, but I'd rather blame the author. When things go positively for Karma in some sense, the agony she feels as she wakes up to start the same day again killed me. There's this huge sense of losing something so lovely...something only she remembers, that made me sob into my pillow. I couldn't handle living that heartache every day. Though since Covid happened sometimes it feels like I'm in a weird time loop. Same day, different book though.

Anyway, I loved this book. It fits into the Burberry Prep and Adamson Academy world and I wonder if these characters will ever meet up with characters from those books in the future. Kind of fun to think about. If you like multiple love interests and the idea of a time loop, you should read this. It was so good.

An interesting read for sure

This is the first time I’ve read a time-loop type book and it was very interesting. I’ve seen Groundhogs Day, but this story was much more emotional. Karma keeps living the same day over and over again, and she just can’t break the cycle. Some days, she has really good times, and other times it is a heartbreaking end. I absolutely loved all the boys, Calix, Barron and Raz are such creative characters. I honestly don’t know who was my favorite, but I think it was Barron. The ending was difficult to read, but it was such and enjoyable story.
