A great follow up to Queen of the Damned and a good use of tropes. Lestat will always be a favourite
Great novel in the classic series
While the first few books were good, this was the most unusual and quite intriguing one yet! I was surprised and delighted at the story line in this and loved it!

Will probably come back, just didn’t peak my interest in first two chapters.
I enjoyed this one better than the others. Although there were points where it drags with Lestat having his existential crisis. At least he realizes he's being rapey when he is, but still it's pretty cringe-worthy.
I'm not sure if I'll continue with the series. The books are so dense and a bit bloated in my opinion. I'll have to read reviews to see if it'll be worth my time to continue.

As with all her books about this saga, it was good, but I would have loved to have seen more. I enjoyed the deeper look we got into Lestat and how human he is despite him thinking himself the devil.

While I was warned I should have stopped reading the series at the last book, this installment was in fact a positive surprise. Lots more action and less lengthy descriptions that got glanced over. I also liked the idea of body switching. Plot was rather predictable but redeemed by a successful execution.

My lease favorite of the series of what I've read (1-5). But still good.
