I love reading about Becky and all of her adventures. This one was a little more silly and random than some of the others but I still enjoyed reading it. I like that this one ended on a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to read the next one. It was a quick, easy read.
I don't even know if this book deserves even a 1 star. It's been *years* since I read book #6, and I had forgotten how utterly narcissistic Becky is. She is a horrible friend, mother, wife...I skimmed this book so quickly.

This series needs to end. I loved the early books , but I couldn't make it through Mini Shopaholic, and while I read this , it irritated the crap out of me. Becky is a shallow, self absorbed poor excuse for a mother , friend, and wife. No growth of character has been written into her over all of these books. I gave this one the benefit of the doubt , but I will not read any future Becky books. Please let her go!
Maybe I went too long between reading books, but I feel like Becky was unreasonably selfish in this book. Not to mention the open-ended ending. Not cool. Luckily this came out years ago and there are 2 more books already released!

This book just did not do it for me. It really dragged. I felt it was more of the same misadventures but more over the top, maybe because it was set in LA? Then after struggling to finally finish it, it is left with a cliffhanger?!? This will be the last of the Shopaholic series for me. Unless the next installment has rave reviews from other readers, I will not be adding to it the top of my To Be Read list, like i did with this one.
I love Sophie Kinsella's other books. I recommend them to all my friends who want a good fun read. I just felt this one was not up to that bar. I can't wait to read the next stand alone book.
