These books are completely ridiculous yet I enjoy them. And I definitely needed this one after that heavy and depressing non-fiction book that I just finished. Timing is everything.
Advertencia!: No podes leerla si no leíste las anteriores, ya que tiene personajes y conflictos que vienen de otras novelas, a los que se suman problemas y personajes nuevos. En cierta forma no es una historia completa, sino que se siente sin final y que el final cerraría con la siguiente novela, lo que es raro. Y la amo a Becky, pero la verdad en esta novela su personaje decae, mas que en cualquiera de las anteriores. Y ojo que soy super fan de la saga.
Sooo disappointed. ?..Becky is so I dunno her character has not improved or progressed in books 6 n 7... I hope she's still kind n big hearted in book 8 as she was in the first 5 books...

I enjoyed this one more than I thought I would - definitely more giggles in the first half, but I appreciated the quick and unexpected resolution of the Sage/Lois saga and I think having lived in LA, the parts caricaturing the city were even more amusing. I think I’d be upset about the cliff-hanger ending if I didn’t have the ebook available from the library.
It was hard to read about Becky being so selfish and interesting to see how she reacts to not being successful. I kinda wish the showdown with Elinor had been bigger.
Decepcionante. Como ya he dicho, esta saga es uno de mis guilty pleasures, pero este libro no fue un pleasure at all. Después de todo lo que me reí con Mini shopaholic, esperaba más de este. Becky me cae bien porque exagera conductas que todos tenemos un poquito, siempre me puedo relacionar un poco con ella cuando justifica sus compras o alguna decisión tonta... con este libro no me identifiqué nada. ¿Lo peor? QUE EL LIBRO NO ACABA. Así es, después de uno de los libros más largos de la serie, el final simplemente es inexistente, todos los cabos se quedan sueltos y de la nada, acaba.

I was disappointed with this book because it felt like it dragged. While I haven’t read the first books in the series recently, I don’t remember Becky being *quite* as annoying to me as she was in this book. It could be that I’ve changed, but I wanted to see Becky help herself sooner in the book than she actually did. The book also ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, which I don’t always like simply because it can feel like the author is forcing the reader into buying the next book of the series based on plot rather than using the characters to make the reader love them and to see where they’re lives are headed next.

I really need to stop reading this series. You would think by now Becky would have matured some but she hasn't and I find I really don't like her anymore. This flighty character was fine and worked in the first three books, but now that she is a mother and seemingly wants to have a career, it appears as if she has gotten worse and not grown as an individual nor as a partner to her husband at all.
