The Shopaholic books are like car crash TV for me. Becky equally frustrates me and endears me. This new book is the usual romp through the next phase of Becky's life, this time in Hollywood where Luke has landed a job. Becky deals with the ups and downs of celebrity life.

I have only given this book 3 stars because the story didn't finish fully. Becky realises what her priorities are, and that has closure - but she is left still chasing across the country after her father and Tarquin who are having an adventure of their own. It felt like a ploy to persuade me to buy the next book in the series.

I was so disappointed in this book… there were twice as many plot lines as their needed to be and it was just so slow. If it was half as long it would’ve been twice as good. I am however, hooked into reading the last one. Hopefully it will be better than this one was.

Not as lighthearted or humorous as her other books. Also couldn't stand Suze in this one. However, the ending has be waiting for the next one!

I love this series for a guilty pleasure. Sometimes you just need a fun book, you know? I was excited to catch up with Becky Brandon, nee Bloomwood, but this book was not fun to read. As other reviewers have mentioned Becky's normal nuttiness has taken a selfish ugly turn. Then if that wasn't bad enough, the ending is rushed and HUGE story line is left unresolved. Really, Sophie Kinsella? Did you know this book wasn't good and you'd need to give readers a real reason to pick up the next book? That was a dirty trick. I wish Kinsella would write more stand alone books and let Becky and company fade away.

It was just eh. Mostly I'm annoyed because I don't like that it ended so unresolved.

I found Becky to be even more insufferable than normal in this book - if that's even possible.....usually though I love her at the end of the story, it's what keeps me coming back. This time, I didn't. The resolution seemed to come too quickly and abruptly. Though I am a little in love with Luke! Of course I will have to read the next one to find out what is going on with Tarkie and her dad.

Another installment in the shopaholic series, and this one was right on par with the others.  This one showed a quite selfish side to Rebecca, which was different because she lost some of her appeal to me during this one.  I just wanted someone to shake her a little and get her back on track.  I do like how this one ended in what you might call a cliffhanger...not really, but the story definitely didn't wrap up and must continue in the next book.  If you're reading this series, you won't be disappointed.

I still find Becky Bloomwood funny. I know I may be too old to read these books, but they make me laugh and allow me to escape the constant rigors of my every day life. So, Sophie Kinsella, thank you!

I was so excited when this book came out. I know some people have so many negative things to say about this, but not me. Becky is my soul sister!! If she's out of the book we'd totally be friends or even best of friends. lol! I want more of this! I know there will be more to come and I just can't wait. :)
