I can't say it was amazing. The love story felt contrived. However, it was so entertaining and the love confessions were almost swoonworthy. I read it in like 2 days.

This book was going to be a five stars. But, the main female character. Man she was insufferable. Pestilence was a very interesting character. In all honesty if it was told from his POV it would have been a five stars. Sarah is the biggest I can change him. He told that woman multiple times he wouldn’t change. Then she gets all mad a the end because he did what he was sent out there to do. Like what? You were fine with it before hand why aren’t you fine with it now. Like make up your mind. Other than that it was very good.

You know what? I started this book with zero expectations, you know thinking about having something light to read but no, my heart had to be torn apart and tears falling from my eyes. So yeah it was a great read.

Very slow and repetitive. Also incredibly disturbing Stockholm syndrome going on with FMC. Both main characters suffered from a lack of critical thinking skills, it was maddening. How on earth can you go around killing everyone you see and then have the nerve to call the people who try to defend themselves against monsters or the worst of humanity??? Truly lacking logic.
