I'm not sure what the purpose of the old lady swallowing things was, like I thought maybe it was to make something but it really didn't connect any dots at the end. I will say the little girl I read it to enjoyed it but it really didn't make any sense to me.

I used this in a guided reading lesson plan and found that it was great for learning about rhyming words. Plus it is very entertaining for the fall/ Halloween season and has awesome illustrations!
