I had no idea that Daphne du Maurier had written about time travel. However, 1969 was a good year for this kind of forays into the past - and long after H. G. Wells's "The Time Machine" or "The Chronic Argonauts," some of Asimov's books, or Hans Christian Andersen's Galoshes :) But, more important, in my opinion, is that du Maurier is one of the very few female authors who, till that date (and even to this day), have written about time travel.

Probably one of the more interesting time travel concepts I've come across. Not to mention the ambiguous ending.

The beginning is very dull and the part in the pass is boring but the last quarter is very good and the ending is amazing
