This book wrecked me in the best way. Second chance love and forgiveness was amazing. This story was heartfelt and incredibly written. I loved it and can’t wait to read more.

Fool Me Once
New England Bay Sharks Book 3
Hannah Gray

Star Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Smith and Gemma are high school sweethearts. Gemma is best friends with Smith’s sister. They had their lives  and futures planned out. But a chance encounter crashes and burns their plans. Smith seems to have it all fame and fortune. On the outside Gemma’s life looks perfect. Nothing is as it seems.

Sometimes when we try to prevent something from happening we tempt fate and what we wanted to avoid happens anyway. What is meant to be will always happen. But I loved that because Gemma was important to Smith, the entire Bay Sharks stepped up to help her heal and them as a couple.

I have to applaud Hannah Gray on tackling tough and emotional topics still while giving us steamy stories that we can connect with. I have loved every book so far. Though I have not had to deal with the topics discussed, I can feel the emotions of the characters as if I am living with them.

WOW WOW WOW! This was an amazing story - heartbreaking, healing, spicy and the tension WOW!
Each addition to this series is better than the one before, each has such a unique plot and fill with massive amount of tension and angst between the two MCs.

Smith - has been in love with his little sisters best friend but because of someone else's choices he leaves her behind. He is going through the motions of life without actually living since the day he left the love of his life behind and when she reenters his life he thinks this is finally his time to have her back where she belongs BUT for her this is the worst time in her life.

Gemma - she has loved her best friends brother for most of her life but unfortunately for her young heart he up and left her without a word and she goes on to meet a POS that causes he to go on the run. She needs to heal from her past and her present but that becomes difficult in her current situation with Smith so now it's her turn to leave him.

I LOVED these and how interconnected their lives were with each other past and present. They loved each other so much that even after all the time spent apart the pull between them was soo strong neither could fight it. All Smith wanted to do was protect her like he should have before and Gemma wants to learn to stand on her own two feet again and get back to who she used to be.

Received an ARC for an honest opinion! I cannot wait for Ryder and Saylor's story. Their dynamic is so interesting even with only the small tidbits we've read so far.
